50 years of family

In 1968, Bob Howard took a leap of faith and left a steady job as a master plumber working for Taylor Plumbing in Rhinelander to begin a new business with his brother Lloyd in Woodruff, thus creating Howard Brothers Plumbing and Heating (since renamed to Howard Bros. Inc.). (subscriber access)

Lake Tomahawk tradition continues with new owners
In May of 2016, Lee Samuelson sold the Korner Drive-In in Lake Tomahawk to Sandy Wendling and Scott Mielkie.

"We bought it on May 13," Wendling said. "Friday the 13th."

"We tried to avoid but it still fell on that date," Mielkie said.
