North Korea and terrorists

To the Editor:

Why would North Korea start working with the United States?

Originally, I wrote this article May 11, 2018. Since then Mr. Jong-Un is still testing President Trump. I hope Mr. Jong-Un realizes he is gambling on losing everything. These are my thoughts.

Kim Jong-Un may be smarter than everyone thinks. And he is serious about getting rid of nukes for the help of the U.S.

If you look at any other news media than the MSM in America, it is not hard to realize terrorists are a world-wide problem. Look at the news from the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Australia, etc. All of them have some problems if not a lot of problems with terrorists. That includes countries like Russia and China. Some time in the near future North Korea will/would have terrorist problems also. Then what would Kim Jong-Un do?

Russia and China are large countries but, socialist dictatorships or whatever you want to call them. Dictatorships that take over and control property (and countries). And the European Union is nearly under the control of the terrorists. Realistically Kim Jong-Un could lose his small country to a larger socialist country, if he were to ask for help when terrorists start to be a problem for him. Kim Jong-Un wants to keep his country.

Previous to President Trump, the Obama administration supported terrorist orientated countries. Supported to the point of the United States being considered a terrorist threat by other major countries in the world. Again, read other country's news media reports. That information was there. Obviously, Kim Jong-Un couldn't trust America then.

Mr. Jong-Un is aware that for more than a half century the United States has not bothered our local dictatorship country to our south, Cuba. We haven't helped them but we did let them exist in their own country. America will let countries be. America under President Trump is no longer the terrorist supporting threat and still does not want to take over other countries. The United States gives other countries the right to run their countries as they see fit. Just do not be a bully to other countries on the world-wide scale.

Where can Kim Jong-Un turn to for help other than the United Sates?

Mr. Jong-Un could keep his country and get help to fight the coming terrorist problems. His people would see a major improvement in living conditions and food. Lots of things would improve for North Korea. And, did I mention Mr. Jong-Un could keep his country?

Granted I would be very cautious in trusting him, but a helping hand never hurt anybody.

This would be the end of my article. Except, I still have one lingering thought/question in the reference to Rocket Man and his nukes. There is no doubt about the damage to his nuke test site (today May 24, 2018, Mr. Jong-Un has closed his test site) but, just how much damage? What about the problem with radiation release? And about the earth quakes in North Korea and Hawaii and many other places since his testing? Is it possible that his nukes have done some serious damage to the earth? No, it is not possible, or is it?
